Abstract
This op-ed piece highlights the government's partnership with the United States Anti-Doping Agency to fight performance-enhancing drug use in sport. This piece argues that using government power to develop evidence against athletes and ultimately ban them from competition may be what is needed to clean up sport, but "cleaning up" sport in this way entitles athletes to constitutional-level due process protections.
